November 2007 A Kit or Classic Car Driving Experience! Our Gift Certificates entitles the Recipient to enjoy either a full days car hire any day Monday to Thursday or choose from a Long or Short Weekend. Contact us for further details. September 2007 The Long and the Short of it Recently we had the pleasure of meeting a charming gentleman who wished to hire one of our kit cars. At 6 foot 4 inches he was worried he would not fit into our cars especially as our record was 6 foot 2 inches as both our kit cars are fitted with adjustable seats. However not to be put off by the challenge we were prepared to give it a try and if we did not succeed we agreed to either provide a full refund or offer an alternative car. On the day, despite our best efforts we found our client would not fit comfortably. So to overcome this difficulty we agreed to remove the drivers seat to provide more legroom and installed a cushion. Obviously safety was paramount and with the four point harness holding the driver firmly in place we were all happy to allow the car to be taken for a test run. Our client was so happy and comfortable he agreed to take the car for the whole weekend and had a wonderful time. So much so he is now looking to buy one of his very own. We just want to say a special thank you to this person for his patience and understanding and for proving that although size matters with a little ingenuity we can all achieve something when we put our mind to it. A true gentleman. August 2007 On the 4th and 5th August 2007 we took part in Channel 4's Scrapheap Roadshow Challenge racing our Juice Free Dragster. Our design and team were selected by the show's producers and we were filmed at the Science Museum at Wroughton. To see how we got on click here: Scrapheap Challenge The winner of our Wroughton Classic Competition is: Anthony Smith from Swindon July 2007
For those of you who took a trip in our kit we hope you enjoyed the ride! Special thanks to
the show organisers and the security staff who made the show a terrific
success
Finally congratulations to: Natasha Weeks & Mrs Burke Winners of our double competition June 2007 We have just become members of South West Tourism so make sure you check out their website at www.visitsouthwest.co.uk Sadly due to all the bad weather we have all recently suffered and our deepest sympathy goes out to everyone who have endured the terrible floods we decided to have two winners for July and hopefully give someone something to smile about so make sure you come along to the West Wilts Show and enter our competition. May 2007 Thanks to everyone who visited us at the Stoneleigh Show and for taking part in our competition. Sadly the weather was not great typical Bank Holiday! but we do have a winner so: Congratulations to: Mr Dean Loder our Latest Competition Winner April 2007
Well done to the organisers of the Westbury Transport Extravaganza for a great day.
Our thanks to everyone who visited our stand at the Detling Show and to the organisers who made the show a success.
Congratulations to: Mr Barry Hayes from Sittingbourne in Kent who has won our latest competition to win a car for the day. Special thanks to Darren and Graham from the AA who patrol M25 for rescuing a damsel in distress. We look forward to seeing you all at Stoneleigh May 6th and 7th 2007. March 2007 We have just held our official Launch day and here are some pictures of our cars in action!
Thankfully the weather held out and everybody enjoyed the pleasure of open top driving.
Some people learnt how to use 4 point harness for the first time and how to take off and put on soft tops. Between us all and after many years of experiencing the joys of flat packed furniture everyone had a great time! Congratulations To our first Competition Winner: Mr Alex Jelfs. Sadly though he is still only 24 years of age and is eagerly waiting for his 25th so that he meets the insurance requirements. Only four more weeks to go and Alex will be going out in our Tiger. Coming Soon Video Clips Mazda and Maclaren a match made in heaven???
For my Christmas treat I had my Mazda RX7 interior re-trimmed and the company who did it used the remnants of material leftover from the Maclaren F1. How cool is that! Check out our Calendar and pop along and say Hello to us at one of the many shows we are attending this year and enter our free competition. We have had some enquiries from our customers regarding a guided travel tour either as a long weekend or over a 5 day period if you would interested in this please contact us and tell us what can do for you (nothing rude thank you!!!).
